There are two main entrances to the building. When you arrive, you want to enter at the entrance closest to Lexington Avenue (west end of building). My office is the first one on the left at the top of the stairs.
If you arrive early, please feel free to sit in the waiting area which is on the right at the top of the stairs. There is a bathroom available on the first floor in the main hallway near the east entrance.
If you need ADA accommodations, please let me know when you schedule, and we will reserve an accessible room on the first floor.
Currently, however, due to the pandemic, all sessions are virtual through a HIPPA-secure telehealth service with TheraNest.

At your first appointment, you and I will determine the frequency of our sessions and the approaches we will take. Do you want to meet weekly? Every other week? Or Monthly? Are you interested in learning different techniques to manage the stressors you are currently experiencing, are there things from your past you would like to process, or do you want to work on a combination of both past and present concerns?
All sessions* are $150 payable at time of service or online prior to your appointment through TheraNest. I accept cash, check, and credit cards.
All sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged the regular session fee. No show appointments are also charged the regular session fee.
The benefit of seeing a fee-for-service psychotherapist like me is that you and I get to decide the frequency we meet and the topics we cover. Your insurance company does not dictate any of these details, and all your information stays truly private and confidential.
*Sliding fee scale may be available for clinical supervision sessions on a case-by-case basis.
All sessions are private and confidential. However, I am a mandated reporter, so there are some exceptions to privacy depending upon safety concerns. I am legally obligated to report any concerns about children or vulnerable adults being hurt or abused to child or adult protection. Additionally, any time there is an imminent threat of harm to self or others, I need to involve emergency services and warn any identified target(s).
